Burglary case solved in Awantipora, stolen property recovered: Police

Srinagar: Police on Saturday said that it has arrested two burglars in Awantiporaand recovered stolen property from their possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the Police Station Awantipora received a written complaint from Adil Ahmad Dar R/o GulshanporaTral, who alleged therein that some unknown burglars have stolen Copper Plates worth ₹1,13,000 from his shop located at Gulshanpora Tral.
Stating that a case under FIR No. 33/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Tral besides initiating investigation , the Police in its statement further said that the a police party led by SHO Police Station Tral, following corroborating and digital evidences arrested two accused Owais Gulzar S/o Gulzar Ahmad Bhat and Fayaz Ahmad Gojar S/o Mohd Ashraf Gojar, both R/o Gulshanpora Tral involved in the commission of crime , adding therein that on the disclosure of the said accused stolen property was also recovered.
