Srinagar: BJP National General Secretary and J&K Incharge Tarun Chugh on Saturday questioned Congress’s stand on Article 370. He said it was important for people to know about their stand on Article 370 and 35 A. “I want to ask Congress leaders, they should tell to people of J&K and Bharat what is their stand on 370 and 35 A. If they have a tie-up with NC (National Conference) and PDP (Peoples Democratic Party), who had thrown J&K on burning embers in the 1990s, they should tell as to what their stand is on these issues,” Chugh told reporters in Srinagar after presiding over the BJP’s 44th foundation day. The BJP leader said that there was nothing in the Congress manifesto released on Friday.
“Congress manifesto is a deception only smells of the traitor-ship. Don’t know if it has been designed, printed, or written outside. ..I can smell from the Congress manifesto that George Soros who is out to destroy India, his toolkit has a role,” Chugh said. The BJP leader also hit out at the Abdullah, Mufti, and Gandhi-Nehru families for pushing J & K into turmoil. He said that for these political parties, the family is the whole nation, but for Narendra Modi, the whole nation is his family. “The trio of families remains unashamed despite the considerable bloodshed in Jammu and Kashmir during their tenure, showing no mercy. People have made up their minds to vote for the Modi government, a government that is vibrant, decisive, dedicated, and poor-friendly. People have rejected those who wish for the weak government for their benefit,” said Chugh. Chugh said the BJP workers have worked tirelessly to ensure the agenda of Pakistan and China does not succeed in Jammu and Kashmir.
