Reasi : In preparation for upcoming festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr, Navratras, and Baisakhi, a team led by District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan conducted market checking in Reasi township.
The team comprised Assistant Director FCS&CA, Naib Tehsildar, TSO and officials from Legal Metrology Department.
During the inspection, a fine amounting to Rs 1600 was recovered from offenders. Additionally, stakeholders were educated about the importance of displaying rate lists, providing good quality essential commodities, and avoiding overcharging.
The AD FCS&CA emphasized the significance of ensuring fair practices and sale of quality products during the festive season, urging all stakeholders to comply with regulations to provide a positive shopping experience for consumers.
