Kulgam: In order to oversee preparations for upcoming festivals of Eid-ul-Fitr, Navratra and Baisakhi in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan along with SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal on Thursday visited Ziyarat Shareef Mir Syed Ali Hussain Simnani RA, Gurdwara at Palpora and Vessu Migrant Colony.
During their visit, they interacted with the people and Management Committee members.
The DC directed officers of line departments to put in place elaborate arrangements for upcoming festivals at all places to ensure smooth and hassle free celebrations.
Accompanying the duo were ADC, ACD, Tehsildar, CMO BMO, Executive Engineer from R&B and other officers.
