MVD Doda conducts enforcement drive on National Highway 244

Doda: Team Motor Vehicle Department Doda, under the leadership of ARTO Er Rajesh Gupta, along with MVI, Amvi, MVTA and staff, executed an enforcement drive on National Highway 244, here on Monday.
During the operation, the team inspected 280 vehicles. The drive targeted violations of various provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, with particular emphasis on overloading, overcharging, exceeding seating capacity and conducting breathalyzer tests.
A total of 30 vehicles were found breaching regulations and were promptly issued challans. Additionally, an on-the-spot compound amount of Rs. 7000 was recovered from the violators.
5 challans were issued under U/s 52/177, 5 under U/s 190, 1 under U/s 194(B), 7 under U/s 177, 4 for operating without Lakhanpur entry tax, 2 under U/s 113/194, 5 vehicles were seized, and 1 challan was issued for carrying goods on a passenger vehicle.
In addition to the enforcement drive, a special checkpoint was also set up by the MVD Doda team under the supervision of ARTO Doda, MVI, Amvi, and other dedicated staff members.
