Laith’s selection underscores his talent and potential in the realm of fast bowling, marking a significant milestone in his budding cricket career.
Laith, who also showcases his prowess as a prolific lower-order batsman, has been a standout performer in the JKCA setup. His inclusion in the U19 Team in the previous season further attests to his cricketing acumen and dedication to the sport. The rigorous selection process witnessed Laith emerging triumphant among 44 fast bowlers from across the nation who vied for coveted positions during the selection trials held in Chennai from the 13th to the 14th of March. He expressed optimism that Laith’s stint at the MRF Pace Foundation would enable him to hone his skills further under the tutelage of experienced coaches. The association expressed confidence that Laith would emerge as a genuine fast bowler, poised to make significant contributions to the cricketing landscape.
