Shopian: In view of upcoming LokSabha Elections, Booth Level Officers (BLO’s), Head of Institutions (HOI’s) and incharge polling stations were on Tuesday imparted training at Mini Secretariat, Shopian.
The training was held under the supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian, Dr Nasir Ahmed Lone.
The main objective of the training was to provide necessary know how to the staff detailed for election duties in order to prepare them for the smooth conduct of elections in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC briefed the staff about their significant role in the election process and called upon all to give their best for the conduct of free and fair elections.
BLOs and HOIs were imparted training by the Master Trainers designated for the purpose.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Dr.ZakirHussainFaaz; Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Shakoor Ahmed Dar; Dy. District Election Officer, Shopian, Jahangir Ahmed; Assistant Commissioner, Panchayat ( Nodal Officer, Trainings) Shopian, Manzoor Ahmed and other concerned were present.
