Srinagar : In accordance with the directions of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and to uphold the motto of ‘Free and Fair Elections’, Police in Budgam has launched a Special Mobile Number which will be active 24×7. The general public can forward objectionable messages that are received through SMS or any Social media platform which has the potential to vitiate the process of LokSabha Elections-2024.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar that Budgam Police hereby urges the general public to send such objectionable messages to 6006751876 along with the details of the senders. Besides, the police assures proper inquiry into the matter and strict action against the miscreants as per law.
