Two-days wet spell likely from March 21 in Jammu & Kashmir, says MeT

Srinagar, Mar 19: Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecasted light rains and snow at few places in Jammu and Kashmir on March 21 and 22.

An official of Meteorological Centre Srinagar stated that the weather condition is expected to remain dry generally on March 19 and 20.

He however added that there is a forecast of two-days wet spell in few places of Jammu and Kashmir from March 21.

“Weather to remain generally dry with possibility of light to moderate rains and snow at many places with thunder, lightning and gusty winds over plains of Jammu and Kashmir Divisions on March 21 and 22,” the official said.

He said on March 23 the weather will remain generally dry, while as on March 24 there is a forecast of partly to generally cloudy weather with light rain and snow at few places in Jammu and Kashmir.

He added that on March 25 and 26 the weather will remain generally dry while as on March 27 and 28 there will be partly to generally cloudy with light rain and snow at few places in Jammu and Kashmir.
