Srinagar : Police in Awantipora on Monday organized an awareness programme related to new Criminal Laws at Govt. Degree College Pampore.
The awareness programme was attended by students, respectable of Pampore area & faculty members of the said college who were made aware regarding the newly three amended criminal laws viz Bharatiya Naya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
SDPO Awantipora Mumtaz Ali (SP SHO Police Station Pampore & Police Station Khrew vividly evaluate the laws and gave a comprehensive lecture of the old laws and new laws. The highlight of the programme was that the participants were involved in interactive discussions enhancing the practical knowledge of the law. Students were made aware about people centric and victim centric reforms in the new laws.
