Srinagar : Police in Sopore on Monday conducted a training programme for Sector Police Officers for forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 at DPL Sopore.
The training program focused on equipping sector police officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage their sectors during the General Lok Sabha Elections. The training session was conducted by DySP DAR Sopore Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal. Addressing the officers about their role, the speaker also urged them to adhere to the rules/regulations/guidelines of Election Commission of India and ensure that elections are conducted in a free, fair and transparent manner.
Sector Officers were also familiarized with Vulnerability Mapping, Fulfilment of Vulnerability Mapping Form 2 and Vulnerability Mapping Form 3, Role of Sector Officers, concept of critical polling stations and the role of police to provide level playing field for all the stakeholders and in ensuring peaceful elections.
