Pulwama: The District Development Council (DDC) member for Tral block, Dr Harbakash Singh on Saturday chaired a meeting with sectoral officers of Tral sub district in Block Development Office (BDO) here.
The meeting was attended by BDO Tral, Muqbil Lateef Hussain, Tehsildar Tral Imran Ahmad, BMO Tral Dr Zahoor Ahmad & other officials, in which several issues pertaining to Tral block were discussed. On the occasion, Dr Harbakash Singh said that, “the meeting was conducted to review the facilities being provided to people by different line departments across the sub district”. He said that main focus was laid on improving health, education and power sectors here, as Tral witnessed protests over hike in power bills, while several steps are needed to up-grade health & education system in the sub district. Moreover, Dr Singh conducted a meeting with Panchayat Secretaries of Tral block as well, and discussed about the current year developmental plan with them, while he assured that he will try his best to ensure development in each and every village of his jurisdiction. Earlier, Dr Harbakash Singh visited Shikargah, Khasdi, Karmulla, Nagbal, Rathsuna, Aripal, Wazilkulnad, Bhatnoor, Nanar & other areas of Tral sub district to conduct public outreach programmes.
