Srinagar : Police in Shopian on Friday organised a comprehensive five-day crash course on the new Criminal Laws (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam) at Recreation Hall DPL Shopian. The course, initiated with an aim to equip officers/officials with the essential understanding of the recently promulgated laws by the Central Government.
The inauguration of the course was graced by the presence of DySP DAR Javaid Ahmad, Sr. PO Sarfaraz Ahmad, Insp. Showkat Ahmad, Insp. Altaf Rashid and PSI Iqbal Razak who delivered an enlightening inaugural Lecturers. During the session, Officers emphasised on the understanding of the theme behind the new criminal laws with a view on the significant Changes.
