Srinagar : Police in Kulgam on the directions of SSP Kulgam Sahil Sarangal on Wednesday organized an awareness programme regarding the newly amended Criminal Laws at Government Degree College DH Pora.
The awareness programme was attended by students and general public who were made aware regarding the three new Criminal Law Acts viz Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagrik Surksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
Besides, the SDPO DH Pora Daljeet Singh along with SHO Police Station DH Pora and SHO Police Station Manzgam vividly evaluated the laws and gave a comprehensive lecture of the old laws and new laws. The highlight of the programme was that the participants were involved in interactive discussions enhancing the practical knowledge of the law.
