Srinagar: Police in Awantipora on Thursday organised awareness programme regarding the newly amended Criminal Laws at Govt. Polytechnic College Awantipora.
The awareness programme was attended by students, respectables of Awantipora area & faculty members of the said college who were made aware regarding the newly three Criminal Laws viz Bharatiya Naya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagrik Surksha, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
On this occasion the SDPO Awantipora Mumtaz Ali (SP), DySP DAR Awantipora Mir Gafoor & SHO Police Station Awantipora Zahoor Ahmad vividly evaluate the laws and gave a comprehensive lecture of the old laws and new laws. The highlight of the programme was that the participants were involved in interactive discussions enhancing the practical knowledge of the law.
