DDC Reasi inspects facilities at polling stations in Katra ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Reasi: District Development Commissioner Reasi, VisheshMahajan, conducted a comprehensive inspection visit to Katra, focusing on the functionality of police check posts and provision of Basic Minimum Facilities in Polling Stations.
Additionally, DDC Mahajan visited the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) building and inspected four polling stations housed in the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), emphasizing the need for essential facilities to facilitate the electoral process.
During the visit, DDC Mahajan meticulously examined the operational status of all police check posts within the district, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness in maintaining law and order during elections.
DDC VisheshMahajan directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Katra Piyush Dhotra to expedite the provision of necessary facilities at the NMDC and TRC building. He emphasized the urgency of completing these enhancements within a short timeframe to ensure the smooth conduct of electoral activities.
ASP VipenChandran, SDPO KatraSurinder Singh Baloria, Naib Tehsildar Katra Ashok Kumar, SHO Nishant Gupta and other officers were present on the occasion.
