DC reviews physical, financial progress under Capex Budget 2023-24 in Distt Udhampur

Udhampur: Deputy Commissioner UdhampurSaloniRaion Thursday chaired a meeting in the Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex Udhampur to assess the physical and financial progress achieved under the District Capex Budget 2023-24, along with the progress of Village Development plans, ABDP, APDP, and SOS initiatives being implemented across various departments in the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner Ghan Sham Singh, PO PoshanSubashDogra, Assistant Commissioner Development Dr. Ranjeet Singh Kotwal, Chief Planning Officer MohdIqbal, and other departmental officers attended the meeting.
After a comprehensive sector-wise review, the DC urged officers to ensure 100% expenditure within the set timeline by expediting the pace of ongoing projects slated for completion within the current fiscal year. Emphasizing clos coordination among departments, the DC underscored the importance of achieving development objectives collectively.
During the meeting, officers provided updates on the physical and financial status of ongoing developmental endeavors. The DC stressed the urgency of completing pending tasks swiftly, emphasizing the necessity of attaining 100% expenditure targets.
Officers were directed to accelerate expenditure bookings and ramp up the tempo of developmental undertakings.
Optimizing full fund utilization, officers were urged to mobilize resources efficiently, ensuring timely project execution. Additionally, officers were instructed to promptly record maximum expenditure for ongoing projects.
