Burglary case in solved Kulgam, 6 accused arrested, Stolen property worth lacs recovered: Police

Srinagar : Police on Thursday said that it has solved a burglary case in Kulgam district by arresting six accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovereing stolen property from their possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the Police Station Kulgam received complaint about burglary and registered a case vide FIR No. 21/2024 under relevant sections of law besides initiating investigation. Stating that during the course of investigation, six suspects identified as Reyaz Ahmad Lone S/o Abdul Rashid Lone R/o Boh DH Pora, Mohd Amin Wani S/o Mohd Afzal Wani R/o DK Marag, Mohd Amin Malik S/o Mohd Jamal Malik R/o DK Marag, Mohd Ishaq Malik S/o Asadullah Malik R/o Lalpur DK Marag, Mohd Aslam Bargath S/o Mohd Qasim Bargath R/o Rajouri and Nazir Ahmad Lone S/o Abdul Gani Lone R/o Suilkhenan DK Marag were zeroed in on who later on confessed their involvement in the commission of crime. Besides, the accused have subsequently been arrested and shifted to Police Station Kulgam where they remain in custody. Police in it’s statement also said that on disclosure of the above named accused stolen property including four stolen Animals were recovered, adding therein that the vehicle (Tata Bolero) bearing registration number JK19A-1662 used in the commission of crime was also seized.
In the concluding para of it’s above quoted statement police said that further investigation of the case is in progress as more arrests and recoveries are expected.
