Public Speaking Competition hosted by 52nd CRPF Bn concludes at Kishtwar

Kishtwar : The Public Speaking Competition organized by the 52nd Battalion CRPF Kishtwar culminated on Wednesday in the Government Degree College Auditorium.
The event graced by Parma Shivan, Commandant-52 Bn CRPF as the Chief Guest and Sunil Parihar from Ashiana as the Special Guest, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 34 students representing various schools and institutions of Kishtwar.
A distinguished panel of jury members, comprising Gaurav Kumar, Assistant Commandant, CRPF, Inspector Vipin Jha, CRPF, Lokesh Sharma, Civilian, Inspector B.C. Pathak, CRPF evaluated the participants based on the criteria viz Content (10 marks), Language (10 marks), Style (10 marks), Overall Presentation (20 marks)
Each jury member has to award 50 marks to the contestants. The competition offered a range of prizes, including Consolation Prizes of Rs. 500 each awarded to Atika Kousar – Dreamland Academy, Keshwan, Adil Ahmed – Dreamland Academy, Keshwan,Shivan Koul – K.V., Adiba Ara – Islamiya Faridiya, Pearl Bhandari – Divine Light Academy, Vanshika Thakur – Daffodil Public School, Saad Ahmed – Kidzee International School and Kajal Rani from Nagni Village.
Among the winners, the 3rd Place went to Tavish Mahajan from Kidzee International School, who received a trophy along with Rs. 2000.
The 2nd Place was clinched by Anam Kelam from AL-Hilal Education Academy. Sh was awarded a trophy and Rs. 3000 cash prize.
Divyanshi Sharma, a 6th-grade student from Kishtwar Valley Public School Hidyal secured the 1st position, receiving a trophy along with Rs. 5000.
The event drew an audience of approximately 250 individuals, showcasing the vibrant spirit of public speaking in the community.
