Srinagar: In a momentous event held at the Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, the unveiling of Faheem ul Islam’s eagerly awaited book, “Confronting the Crossroads: Muslim Youth in the 21st Century,” captivated audiences and dignitaries alike. Occurring on the esteemed occasion of International Women’s Day, the launch, organized meticulously by SOCH, Beyond the Imagination NGO, alongside the revered Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, garnered attention for its timely release and profound subject matter. Prof. Rafiuddin, esteemed Dean of Students Welfare at Aligarh Muslim University, graced the event as the chief guest, emphasizing the book’s message’s significance. Joining him were distinguished guests of honor, including Prof. Farooq Ahmad Dar, Chairman of the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Unani Medicine; Dr. Muzamil Mushtaq, Assistant Training and Placement Officer; and Mr. Yasir Ali, owner of Yasir Ali Classes. Their presence underscored the importance and relevance of the book’s themes.
Faheem ul Islam’s insightful exploration of the challenges encountered by Muslim youth in the modern era, coupled with his adept provision of navigational tools to confront these crossroads, received widespread admiration. In recognition of his outstanding contribution, both the Dean and Chairman expressed heartfelt appreciation and presented him with a well-deserved award. Faheem’s work not only enriches contemporary discourse but also serves as a guiding beacon for navigating the complexities of today’s world. During the event, Faheem ul Islam expressed gratitude for the recognition, pledging to continue serving society. He reaffirmed his commitment to addressing challenges faced by Muslim youth and stressed his dedication to fostering positive change. In a succinct message, the author emphasized the importance of unity and empowerment within the community, advocating for collective action towards a brighter future for all.
