Srinagar : Police on Wednesday said that it has solved a burglary case in Baramulla by arresting three accused persons involved in the commission of crime and also recovered stolen property from their possession.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that Police Station Sheeri received a written complaint from one Abdul Aziz Bhat @Bhat Traders S/o Abdul Ahad R/o Sheeri who alleged therein that his salesmen namely Zubair Ahmad Mir S/o Farooq Ahmad R/o Gantamulla Bala has stolen hardware/sanitary and other items worth 6 lacs from the shop.
Stating that a case vide FIR No. 11/2024 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Sheeri besides initiating further investigation into the case, Police in it’s statement said that an investigation team comprising SHO Police Station Sheeri and other officers/ officials of Police Station Sheeri under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla was constituted and during the course of investigation, CCTV footage was collected and analysis of CCTV footage revealed the involvement of salesman and his other two associates identified as Wali Mohd Bhat S/o Ali Mohd R/o Bimar Boniyar & Zubair Ahmad Lone S/o Ab Rashid R/o Budmulla Sheeri in the commission of crime.
Police in it’s statement further said that the said accused were arrested and the stolen property worth 5 lacs was also recovered from the possession of the said, the Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement resolved to act tough against individuals involved in any kind of criminal activities.
