Srinagar : Police on Wednesday said that in a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Budmulla, Police seized two tractors, besides arrested a driver.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that a Police party under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by SHO Police Station Sheeri, seized two Tractors and also arrested one driver identified as Muzamil Bilal Bhat S/o Bilal Ahmad R/o Zoogiyar, adding therein that the drive of another tractor namely Nisar Ahmad Lone S/o Bashir Ahmad R/o Budmulla fled away from the spot and efforts are on to trace him.
Stating that the accused were found involved in illegal extraction/transportation of minerals , Police in it’s statement further said that a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Sheeri besides initiating investigation .
