Srinagar : In run-up to the upcoming parliamentary elections , Chairman Peoples Democratic Front ( PDF) and former Minister has appealed people to use their votes with utmost social responsibility and elect honest and trusted candidates , having goodwill and faith of the society . He said the era of exploitive politics and deceit has gone adding that the people of Jammu and kashmir are wise enough to vote for their own interests.
Addressing a convention of party workers of Raithan , Kechwari and Gurwaith areas of Khansahib constituency in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday Hakeem asked the people to vote for candidates who are sincere to people’s aspirations and have good performance and report card.
He said people of jammu and kashmir were confronting a severe identity crisis and trust deficit as never before that needs to be addressed and restored with a solmn commitment, Hakeem said “need of the hour was to make right choice of candidates who are dedicated and sincere to meet thier aspirations and general cause” .
On this occasion, Hakeem greeted the people on commencement of the holly month of Ramadhan , commencing from Tuesday this week. He prayed that the auspicious month of Ramadhan may prove harbinger of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed Jammu & Kashmir Government to ensure availability of adequate stocks during the month and check the black marketting.
