Dr. Farooq, Omar greet people on onset of Holy month of Ramadan

Srinagar : President J&K National Conference Dr Farooq Abdullah and party’s vice president Omar Abdullah on Monday greeted people on the onset of the holy month of Ramadan. President J&K Apni Party while extending his greetings to J&K people on the commencement of holly month of Ramadan has asked them to pray for peace and prosperity in J&K and J&K Government to make appropriate arrangements for the conveniences of the people during the month of Ramadan.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, Dr. Farooq in his message said, “May the divine blessings of Allah bless us all during the holy month of Ramadan. I take this opportunity to wish Ramadan Mubarak to all. May Almighty bless us all in our endeavors and accept our fasts and prayers. I also urge the divisional administration of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh to ensure all basic and effective amenities to the people during the holy month.” He said, “The household requirements of people increase exponentially during the holy month. It is therefore imperative for the state administration to ensure a hassle free Ramdan to people. I impress upon the incumbent Governor’s administration to ensure all facilities to people across JK.” Party vice president Omar Abdullah, while greeting the people said, “I wish Ramadan Mubarak to all, and hope that the sacred month brings cheerfulness to our people. In this month, we should remember those who need our help, May we be guided by our faith in Allah towards success and prosperity.”
Meanwhile President J&K Apni Party Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has also extended warm greetings to the people, especially Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir, on the arrival of the revered month of Ramadan. Bukhari in his message of Ramadan greetings said, “I extend greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the Muslims, on the arrival of the month of Ramadan, which is the holiest month and holds unparalleled significance in the history of Islam. This is the month of piety and prayers, teaches us to be pious and humble.” Praying for the well being of the people Bukhari said “May this sacred month bring peace, tranquillity, harmony, and compassion to our society,” he prayed. The Apni Party leader appealed Jammu & Kashmir Government to ensure adequate availability of essential commodities in the markets, as well as a reliable supply of drinking water and electricity across Jammu and Kashmir during this month.
