KVIB Ramban organises seminar-cum-awareness camp at Batote

Ramban : Khadi Village & Industries Board (KVIB), Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized a seminar cum awareness camp at Baroon Batote Panchayat. The event aimed to disseminate information about different Self-employment schemes such as PMEGP, JKREGP, and PM Vishwakarma being implemented by KVIB, to empower the local youth and promote entrepreneurship.
Zonal Officer, KVIB, Ramban, Tanver Ahmed Wani, welcomed the distinguished guests, members of the public and unemployed youth, emphasizing the importance of these schemes in fostering a culture of self-employment.
In his address, BI, DIC Ramban, Ravi Danaishwar Singh, elaborated the PMEGP and PM Vishwakarma scheme and sensitized the participants about procedure and uploading of application forms under the scheme besides the benefits of enrolment with DIC. The unemployed youth of the Panchayat Barron Batote panchayat were told about various benefits/ subsidies they can get to start their own ventures by financial assistance under the PMEGP Scheme in manufacturing and service sectors. The representatives from Horticulture department and Handicraft department were also present.
The aspiring unemployed youth were motivated by the schemes and they were willing to step ahead to avail benefit after completion of their courses under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and JKREGP implemented by the KVIB, Ramban. In conclusion, the District Officer, KVIB, Ramban, Farooq Ahmed Baba presented a vote of thanks to the PRI members and general public who made their presence in the camp.
