K H Snippets: LG’s Weeklong Activities At Major Public Events Within, Outside J&K

Srinagar: Below mentioned is the timeline of the weeklong activities of Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at major public events within and outside Jammu & Kashmir:-
On March 03, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the 23rd All India Police Water Sports Championship 2023-24 (Men & Women), at Srinagar. The Lt Governor welcomed and extended his best wishes to all the sportspersons, organizers and sports enthusiasts for a very successful and memorable championship.
On March 04, LG Sinha and Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying inaugurated the two-day Technology Exhibition-cum-Seed Mela at SKUAST Kashmir. The event witnessed the inauguration of various works and programmes including SKUAST Kashmir’s commercial Silage Unit, Krishi Radio and Rural Internship – Student Rural Exploration programme of J&K Government under HADP.
On March 05, Haji Farooq Mir, Vice Chairman, District Development Council Kupwara called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan and put forth various development issues of far-flung areas of Kupwara District.


Peer Tehleel Manzoor, CEO Stratflare Global also called on the Lt Governor and briefed him about the initiatives of his startup to raise awareness on cyber security.
On March 06, a delegation of Intellectuals from various reputed Institutions called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan. The delegation comprised of Prof. Rekha Saxena, senior Professor University of Delhi; Prof. Ashwani Kumar, Dean, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Dr. Adrain Haack, Director, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) India, shared their views on the present development scenario of J&K and congratulated the Lt Governor for the progressive reforms introduced in diverse sectors in Jammu & Kashmir.
On March 06, Representatives of Gujjar Mahasabha, Baramulla headed by its Chairman Choudhary Nazir called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan. The delegation expressed gratitude to the Lt Governor led J&K Government for taking dedicated welfare measures for Gujjar and other tribal communities in Jammu Kashmir.
On March 07, LG Sinha expressed gratitude to PM Narendra Modi Ji for dedicating ‘Holistic Agriculture Development Programme’, project for ‘Integrated Development of Hazratbal Shrine’ and blessing the new government recruits by distributing the appointment orders. Rapid & inclusive development of J&K has been the top priority of the PM since 2014. He has dedicated every moment to restore rights of people who have been living on the margins for decades & ushered a new era of peace, prosperity & hope.
On March 08, LG Sinha extended greetings on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. He said “Herath Poshte! Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. May Lord Shiva bless us all.”
On March 08, On the occasion of International Women’s Day, LG Sinha extended greetings to Nari Shakti for their selfless & determined effort to shape the destiny of ‘Naya J&K’. They are playing an exemplary role in peace & prosperity and will continue to drive J&K’s future progress & inclusive growth.
