Celebrating Craftsmanship: Mega Awareness Prog under PM Vishwakarma organized in B’pora

Bandipora : District Administration Bandipora on Saturday organised a mega awareness program under PM vishwakarma to raise awareness about the various benefits available under the scheme.
During the program, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of supporting and nurturing the talents of artisans and craftsmen, who are an integral part of our cultural heritage.
The Deputy Commissioner also highlighted the various provisions and benefits offered by the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, including financial assistance, skill development programs, and access to markets.
He said, the PM Vishwakarma Scheme is an opportunity for unorganized workers to uplift their economy.
The DC urged all the eligible unorganized artisans to come forward and avail themselves of the benefits under the scheme.
On the occasion, ACD Bandipora Mumtaz Ahmad also highlighted the step by step process involved while applying on PM Vishwakarma Portal.
He stressed concerned verifying departments to make proper verification of the applicants and verify applications on PM Vishwakarma Portal on priority.
ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani, GM DIC, AD MSME, Officers and officials of RDD, Municipality, and a large gathering of artisans attended the programme.
