Kupwara : The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Muhammad Rouf Rehaman on Friday undertook an extensive tour of various areas of Lolab to oversee the functioning of essential services and efficient delivery of Public services.
The ADC also inspected the snow clearance process from the roads and took first hand appraisal about availability of essential services and supplies.
During the visit, the ADC undertook surprise inspection of SDH Sogam to inspect patient care facilities available at the Hospital.
He took a round of various units of the Hospital and inspected the emergency unit, dialysis unit, labour room and other sections.
On the occasion, he enquired about the health facilities being provided to the patients & interacted with staff and patients.
He appreciated the patient care and work culture in the SDH Sogam.
ADC also paid a visit to PHC Lalpora to take stock of health care facilities being provided there.
To take firsthand appraisal about the present status of the power supply, water supply, and Snow clearance from roads at other places, ADC visited Diver, Andurbugh, Gund Manchar, Chandigam and other areas of Lolab where people demanded uninterrupted power supply during upcoming Sehri, iftar and Prayer times. He also visited Khumryal, Kalaroos and Zangli where he interacted with the locals.
