New Delhi : Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Thursday said the hands that held guns until yesterday now hold iPads and computers in Jammu and Kashmir .
Speaking at a rally in Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance, Singh said the PM freed the people of the valley from the long, dark night of misery and changed their destiny.
“…The hands that held guns until yesterday now hold iPads and computers. The fingers that were covered in blood until yesterday are now knitting Pashmina and showing their talent to the entire world,” the Minister said in his address.
He said that every resident in J&K has joined the journey of ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’.
Jitendra Singh said that the people flooded Bakshi Stadium and this reflects the people’s love for PM Modi.
“This is ‘Modi ka parivar’…This huge crowd has been desperately waiting for you to listen to your speech,” he said.
