DDC Chairman Doda reviews progress of developmental activities in Gandoh area

Doda: To ensure developmental activities in Gandoh progress according to schedule and as per prescribed guidelines, Chairman District Development Council Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, alongside Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani, presided over a meeting in Gandoh.
The meeting was attended by SDM Gandoh and officers from various departments.
After a comprehensive review of the physical and financial progress of different departments under various schemes, the DDC Chairman emphasized the need to address the bottlenecks, if any, to ensure timely completion of projects for public benefit.
Chairman Kotwal urged officers to synchronize their efforts for the efficient delivery of public services and inclusive development. He emphasized the importance of providing the public with basic amenities and speeding up the execution pace to meet deadlines.
Additionally, he directed authorities to provide compensation to families affected by natural calamities or unforeseen disasters, citing the tragic accident resulting in the loss of Suniksha Devi’s life due to high-speed winds. He expressed deep shock and pain and instructed authorities to compensate the victim’s family promptly.
In another initiative, DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh Kotwal and Vice Chairperson SangeetaBhagat visited ChantiBala village in Gandoh/Bhalessa to address public grievances and demands. Key officers, including SDM Gandoh, accompanied them. They also paid a visit to Suniksha Devi’s family, offering heartfelt condolences on her tragic demise caused by the accident. The Chairman assured the family of timely redressal of their issues and pledged to continue efforts for the overall development of the region.
