MG Motor India introduces new Hector variants Shine Pro and Select Pro

Srinagar: MG Motor India introduces two new variants of its popular SUV, the MG Hector, named Shine Pro and Select Pro. The starting price for the Hector is now INR 13.99 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Packed with innovative features, intuitive technology, safety enhancements, and driving convenience, both Shine Pro and Select Pro offer a compelling value proposition for SUV enthusiasts.
The exterior of the MG Hector boasts a bold and striking design, complemented by interiors standardized with best-in-segment offerings and unique design elements.
The dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a host of best-in-class features make the MG Hector an attractive choice for those who prioritize technology and top-notch performance in their vehicles.
The new variants, Shine Pro and Select Pro, provide an enhanced in-car infotainment experience with India’s largest 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, featuring Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and a Wireless Phone Charger.
Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, MG Motor India, said that advanced features of the new variants, including LED Projector Headlamps, Floating Light Turn Indicators, LED Blade Connected Tail Lamps, and Chrome Outside Door Handles.
“Both Shine Pro and Select Pro variants feature an All-Black theme in premium upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a brushed metal finish (CVT 5-seater),” he said.
Gupta said they have also come equipped with a Full Digital Cluster featuring a 17.78 cm Embedded LCD Screen.
On the comfort and convenience front, Shine Pro and Select Pro offer a Push Button Engine Start/Stop with a Smart Key. Additionally, they introduce a first-in-segment Digital Bluetooth Key and Key Sharing capability.
Since its launch in 2019, the MG Hector has made a significant impact on the SUV landscape, offering a multitude of tech features and superior driving comfort with ADAS Level 2 and Connected features.
“The introduction of Shine Pro and Select Pro continues the trend of setting new benchmarks in the segment, catering to the discerning preferences of SUV enthusiasts.”
The new variants also prioritize safety and convenience with features such as Cruise Control, Electric Parking Brake, All four-wheel disc brakes, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control (HAC), ABS + EBD, Brake Assist, All Seats Seatbelt Reminder, Follow Me Home Headlamps, Cornering Front Fog Lamps, Front & Rear Defogger, Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock, ISOFIX Child Seat Anchors, and High-Speed Warning Alert.
The Select Pro variant stands out with 18” diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the Shine Pro features 17” silver alloy wheels. MG has priced the Shine Pro at INR 15,99,800 Lakh* and the Select Pro at INR 17,29,800 Lakh* (ex-showroom).
MG Motor India extends its commitment to customers with the unique car ownership program “MG SHIELD,” offering after-sales service options.
“Customers will benefit from a standard 3+3+3 package, providing a warranty of three years with unlimited kilometres, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services. Customized options to extend warranty or roadside assistance and Protect plans, the company’s pre-paid maintenance packages, ensure a stress-free ownership experience,” he said.
