Lok Sabha Elections-2024: Training/Workshop for Nodal, Zonal Officers held at G’bal

Ganderbal: A comprehensive training cum workshop for Nodal Officers, Zonal Officers from civil administration and sector Police Officers in preparation for the forthcoming General Elections to LokSabha 2024 was on Saturday held in the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.
The event, organized by District Election Officer, Shayambir aimed to equip officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to efficiently carry out their duties during the electoral process.
The LokSabha Elections of 2024 hold significant importance, being a cornerstone of democracy in India. To ensure the smooth conduct of these elections, it is imperative that election officers are well-trained and fully prepared for their roles.
The training cum workshop served as a platform to provide them with insights into their responsibilities, protocols, and procedures.
During the workshop, District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) shared their expertise and guidance with the participants.
The agenda included sessions on roles and responsibilities of Zonal and Sector Officers. Practical demonstrations and interactive exercises were also conducted to reinforce learning and enhance participants’ understanding.
The DEO expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “Our aim with this training cum workshop is to empower our Zonal and Sector Officers with the knowledge and skills they need to execute their duties effectively”. By investing in their training, we are ensuring the integrity and transparency of the electoral process, thereby upholding the principles of democracy, he added.
The event witnessed the participation of officers assigned the task of their election assignments in various zones and sectors, all committed to upholding the democratic values of the nation.
Their active engagement and eagerness to learn were commendable, reflecting their dedication to ensuring free, fair, and peaceful elections.
The workshop was attended by SSP Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad; Dy. DEO Ganderbal, AabidIqbal Malik besides all Nodal Officers for General Election to LokSabha 2024, Tehsildars, Block Development Officers of District Ganderbal.
