Kishtwar: District Administration Kishtwar has swung in action to reach out to people affected by rains and flash floods amid prevailing inclement weather conditions in the region.
The concerned Tehsildars have reported damages to 14 structures, including 6 Kacha houses, 2 cattle sheds and 2 commercial establishments in Tehsil Kishtwar.
Meanwhile, 2 Kacha houses were damaged in Tehsil Mughal Maidan, 1 each in Tehsil Dachhan, and Tehsil Chatroo.
No loss to life has been reported so far. The affected families have been promptly relocated to nearby safe places and accommodations by the administration.
Deputy Commissioner, DrDevanshYadav informed that the Red Cross team is actively engaged in delivering relief material and necessary support to those affected people.
