Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, R R Swain on Saturday sanctioned a cash reward of Rs one lakh for the members of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) for successfully working out a robbery case within a few days in the Chadwal area of Kathua district.
Police sources said the case was cracked by arresting three hardcore criminals from their hideouts and recovering two pistols, four magazines, 23 live rounds, one sharp-edged weapon and seven mobile phones from their possession.
The DGP, sanctioned the cash reward of Rs one lakh to appreciate and encourage the members of the investigating team.
