During the meeting, the DC issued directives to various departments to ensure the seamless execution of all essential arrangements for the community during the auspicious occasion. He instructed concerned departments to ensure the availability of essential commodities for the residents.
Specifically, the DC highlighted the need for ensuring an ample supply of fish, vegetables, including Lotus Stems (Nadroo), spinach, walnut, cheese, and other basic necessities such as LPG cylinders, K-oil, rice, sugar, and flour. Moreover, he stressed the importance of uninterrupted water and electricity supply in all areas predominantly inhabited by the Pandit community.
To enhance the festival experience for the Pandit community, the Fisheries Department received instructions to deploy trout fish-carrying mobile vans in various areas of the district, particularly outside the Mata KheerBhawani Temple Tullamulla.
In addition to this, the Floriculture Department was directed to ensure an abundant supply of flowers at prominent locations.
Simultaneously, the Municipality and Rural Development Department were tasked with conducting sanitation drives in and around temples where major congregations are expected during the festive days.
The Food Safety Department has been directed to conduct thorough market checks in all major markets of the district to ensure the quality and safety of food products during the festival.
Furthermore, the Executive Engineer of the Power Development Department (KPD) was instructed to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity, and the Jal Shakti department was directed to ensure adequate drinking water facilities at all venues to prevent any inconvenience to the devotees.
The DC expressed confidence that these measures would contribute to a joyous and hassle-free celebration of MahaShivratri for the entire community.
