Chairman, Sikh Coordination Committee J&K calls on LG
Jammu: Ajit Singh, Chairman, Sikh Coordination Committee Jammu Kashmir called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhawanon Friday.
He drew the attention of the Lt Governor towards the issue of the inclusion of the Pahari-speaking residents of hilly belt of Tehsil Rohama and Dangiwacha (Rafiabad) of District Baramulla, belonging to Sikh Community in the Pahari Ethnic group.
S. Ajit Singh also put forth various welfare issues of the Sikh community including ownership of Gurudwara properties/chunk of land by District GurudwaraParbandhak Committees as per the Sikh Gurdwaras and Religious Endowment Act 1973.
The Lt Governor assured the Chairman, Sikh Coordination Committee J&K of the appropriate action on the issues projected by him during the interaction.

Chairperson, National Commission for Women Calls on LG
Jammu: Ms Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, National Commission for Women called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Friday at Raj Bhawan.

LG releases Prof Hari Om’s book on ‘Abrogation of Article 370’
Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinhaon Friday released a book titled ‘Abrogation of Article 370-Supreme Court’s Landmark Judgement’ written by Prof. Hari Om, at Raj Bhawan.
The Lt Governor congratulated the author for his notable work and extended his best wishes.

Former BJP Minister, DDC Member Poonch call on LG in Jammu
Jammu: Bali Bhagat, former Minister called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan, Friday.
Subsequently, Riyaaz Bashir Naaz, Member District Development Council Poonch also met the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Lt Governor-led J&K Government for the 50-bedded Critical Care Block coming up at District Hospital Poonch. The members of the delegation led by Naaz also put forth various issues of public importance including extension of working period of seasonal educational volunteers.
Gaurav Gupta, Secretary, Jammu Club met the Lt Governor and projected several issues pertaining to the development of Tourism and fostering entrepreneurial growth in Jammu region. Rajinder Sharma, former Mayor JMC and Vijay Saraf, Executive Member, Indian Red Cross Society Jammu also called on the Lt Governor.

Former BJP MP Manhas, BJP Mahila Morcha delegation call on LG In Jammu
Jammu: Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, Friday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan.
A delegation of the office bearers of BJP Mahila Morcha including Ms Sanjita Dogra, Anu Radha Charak, Veenu Khanna, Reema Padha and Neha Mahajan also called on the Lt Governor. Chander Mohan Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Mayor JMC was also present.

Tejinder Singh on repatriation posted DIG Rajouri-Poonch
Srinagar : The Jammu & Kashmir Home Department, on Friday posted Tejinder Singh, IPS, as DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range after his repatriation from the Central Government.
According to an order issued from Jammu & Kasjmir Government’s Home Department Tejinder Singh, IPS, upon repatriation to Jammu and Kashmir has been posted as DIG, Rajouri-Poonch Range, against an available vacancy, relieving Sunil Gupta, of the additional charge of the said post.
