The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by a comprehensive lecture delivered by IEDS Assistant Director Rajesh Kumar. Kumar provided a brief overview, emphasizing the significance of the PM Vishwakarma scheme and its potential impact on the lives of artisans.
The scheme, launched on September 17, 2023, by the Prime Minister, covers 18 categories of artisans, ensuring their access to a range of benefits upon successful registration and verification.
