Fisheries Deptt organizes special sale of Trout/ Carp Fish for Mahashivratri

Jammu : In view of the upcoming eve of Mahashivratri on 8th March, 2024, the Department of Fisheries J&K Jammu is going to organize a special sale of Trout/Carp Fish at all existing Fish Farms/Narwal Fish Market of the Department in the Jammu Division.
The Fish shall be made available especially at Migrant Camps/Fish Farms on 6th, 7th March, 2024 after 12 noon and also departmental mobile vehicles shall be available on the above dates.
The sale outlets will be available at Migrant Camp of Jagti, Migrant Camp at Purkhoo, Migrant Camp at Buta Nagar/Muthi, Talab Tillo/Anand Nagar, Bohri/Udheywala, TRT Nagrota/Sidhra, Durga Nagar/Janipur, Subash Nagar, Gangyal/Central University Area and Departmental farms at Fish Farm Doomi Akhnoor and Fish Farm Ghoumanasan.
The special sale of Trout Fish will be made available at Narwal Fish Market Opposite J&K Bank, Fruit Complex only after advance booking of the Trout Fi The advance booking of the Trout Fish will be closed at 12 noon on 4th of March, 2024. For advance booking of Trout Fish please contact 94191-42180, 94191-31917.
The rate for the Trout Fish will be Rs. 500/kg and for Carp Fishes, the rate will be Rs. 200/kg.
