Srinagar : Police on Monday said that SIU Srinagar produced charge sheet against two accused including an active absconding local militant in case FIR No. 37/2023 in the Court of NIA Srinagar.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the charge sheet bearing No. 02/2024 of case FIR No. 37/2023 under section 4/5 Exp. Sub Act, 13, 18, 20, 23, 38, 39 UA (P) Act of Police Station Kothibagh Srinagar was presented before the Court of NIA Srinagar against two accused identified as Mohd Rangrez S/o Ab Rashid Rangrez R/o Firdousabad Batamaloo (militant associate) presently on judicial custody remand at Central Jail Srinagar and another Momin Gulzar Mir S/o Gulzar Ahmad Mir R/o Firdous Colony Eidgah Srinagar, an active absconding ‘A’ category local militant regarding whom the Court was urged to take cognizance under section 299 CrPC accordingly. Besides, the next date of hearing is fixed on 16-03-2024.
