Shopian : Continuing the outreach programme, the Horticulture Planning & Marketing department Shopian on Monday organized an awareness programme on various post-harvest management schemes/ with special focus on strengthening of Agriculture Marketing under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) at Fruit Mandi Arhama, Shopian.
Huge gathering of growers and other individuals participated in the said awareness programme.
Area Marketing Officer Shopian presented a detailed overview of the schemes being implemented in the district under HADP. The DNO PMFME scheme and GMI made a detailed presentation of the PMFME scheme.
The participants were made aware about other schemes like PMFME and Support for Grading and Packaging scheme of the department.
Registration of participants on DAKSH Kisan portal was also held during the day-long programme.
The audience was urged to come forward and reap the benefits of the scheme.
Among others, Area Marketing Officer, Shopian along with his field staff, representatives of line departments attended the programme.
