Pulwama: Soon after the visit of former Indian international cricketer Sachin Tendulkar to MJ Sports bat industry, located on Srinagar-Jammu national highway at Chersoo in South Kashmir’s Awantipora, its owner called it a great step for the welfare of bat industrialists here.
Talking to The Kashmir Horizon, owner MJ Sports, Javaid Iqbal Parray has said that, “former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s visit will give boost to the Kashmir’s bat industry, as it will promote our work and will give us many benefits”. “We are very thankful to Allah that renowned cricketer Tendulkar paid visit to our unit. Soon after he left our unit, videos and photos went viral, and people started ordering our bat,” he said. He further said that, not only for him, but Tendulkar’s visit to bat manufacturing unit is good news for all, as other cricketers will also start to visit Kashmir now. “Our bat is having already a good image, but Sachin’s visit will promote it much more. Thanks to Allah that he visited here,” Javaid Iqbal Parray added. Earlier, Accompanied by his wife Anjali and daughter Sara, Sachin Tendulkar visited the MJ Sports bat manufacturing unit in Chersoo Awantipora and remained there for around an hour.
