Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir is leading frontrunner among all the states and Union Territories (UTs) in providing the maximum number of e-services, offering a total of 1,117 services, according to the latest National e-Services Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) report. The NeSDA Way Forward Report 2023 report released by the union department of administrative reforms and public grievances (DARPG), Government of India highlights Jammu & Kashmir’s dominance in the digital platform with its array of online services.
According to the report, out of the total 16,487 e-services provided across States/UTs, Jammu and Kashmir tops the list with 1,117 e-services, showcasing its commitment to digital transformation and citizen-centric governance.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA), Anuradha Gupta told KNO that the government is actively working on expanding its e-service portfolio by adding ten more services to the online platform, expected to be available to the public by the next month.

Gupta emphasized the government’s dedication to enhancing transparency and efficiency in citizen services, stating, “We are in the process of developing more services for the people. We are working on adding 10 more services which will be available for the people most likely by next month.” The report further highlights Jammu and Kashmir’s leading position in Unified Service Delivery Portal Service, with 100% of its services available on the identified single unified service delivery portal— e-UNNAT.
According to the report, this integration aims to streamline service availability, facilitate entitlement access, and bolster ease of doing business initiatives. The report states that with over 1118 e-services offered through the e-UNNAT portal, Jammu and Kashmir has processed 55,26,245 applications and facilitated 12,87,533 certified deliveries within the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA) framework, underscoring the efficacy of digital governance initiatives in Jammu and Kashmir
