Jammu: The DGP’s Public Grievances Redressal/Interaction programme is scheduled to be held on February 17-2024 (Saturday) 3.00 P.M. at District Police Lines, Baramulla. The grievance/interaction programme is exclusively for the residents of Baramulla District.
In a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ Jammu Police has advised people having grievances related to police services to approach the District Police Lines (DPL) to register at the help desk established for the purpose. The police statement reads “People who wish to bring their grievances to the attention of J&K DGP should submit written applications containing complete details including that of a working mobile number”.
Police in its statement also said that the DGP’s Public Grievance Redressal program is exclusively for addressing concerns related to Police services, Stating therein that the public grievances program does not include matters concerning the recruitment of Special Police Officers (SPOs) or general transfers and it has been clarified for the information of general public that grievances pertaining to the said specific areas will not be entertained during the grievance redressal programme.
