SMVDU, JKSTIC Udhampur organises One-Day Awareness Prog on Clean & Green Energy Technologies

Udhampur: School of Energy Management, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra, organised one-day awareness program focused on clean and green energy technologies in collaboration with Department of Science & Technology, JKSTIC, Udhampur.
The primary objective of this initiative is to educate individuals and communities about the latest advancements and innovations in clean energy technologies, with a specific emphasis on their role in mitigating climate change and promoting a more sustainable future.
Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor SMVDU, in his key address, highlighted the steps taken by SMVDU in organizing high quality awareness programmes, workshops and conferences. He stressed that such events help in broadening the knowledge base of the participants.
Prof. Pragati Kumar highlighted various aspects of Clean and Green Energy Technologies. He said that this awareness program will make all of us understand the need for clean energy, sustainable development and spread awareness and knowledge among the participants and society.
Shruti Khanna District Coordinator JKSTIC highlighted the major initiatives and activities undertaken by DST, J&K. She asserted that the event”s objective is to encourage the young minds across and hoped they would be role models with a particular emphasis on promoting Green Energy for Sustainable Development.
Dr. Ankit Tyagi, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT, Jammu laid emphasis on super capacitors for electric vehicles. He stressed on the new advancements in materials for reliability of electric vehicles.
Managing Director, Maini Industries Jammu Arjun Maini, Assistant Manager, Germi Himanshu Malpotra, Head, School of Energy Management and Dean R&D Dr. Vineet Veer Tyagi, Associate Dean R&D and Coordinator, Dr. Sanjeev Anand also spoke on the occasion and delivered lecture on aspect of clean energy, its environmental benefits as part of a global energy future, policy and regulatory framework besides other concerned topics.
