SDM reviews progress of schemes and progs in Ramnagar

Ramnagar: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, SaloniRai, on Tuesday, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, conducted a comprehensive review of multiple schemes and programs being executed in the Sub Division, Ramnagar by the Health, ICDS, and Social Welfare departments.
The meeting was attended by BMO, CDPO, and other sectoral officers from various departments.
During the discussion on ICDS services, the CDPO, Poshan, provided insight into various schemes and activities, with a special emphasis on enhancing the nutritional quality at all Anganwadi centers.
The CDPO, Poshan, was instructed to closely monitor the quality of diets provided to children at these centers and expand the diet plans.
The SDM directed the Health and ICDS departments to mobilize village-wise and Anganwadi centers strictly to identify severely anemic women so that necessary steps can be taken for the benefit of poor women.
The SDM also reviewed the implementation of various centrally and UT-sponsored health-related schemes.
