Jammu : Office of the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) J&K in collaboration with J&K Bank organized a special awareness camp at Community Hall, Muthi to aware the beneficiaries about various Government Schemes. Representatives from Line Departments viz Social Welfare, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Employment, KVIB, Labour, Handicraft & Handloom gave awareness about various Government schemes in the Camp.
The departments also enrolled beneficiaries and gave detailed information about self employment generation schemes.
Ayush Department held a health check up camp and examined more than 100 persons and distributed free Ayush Medicines to them.
Dr. ArvindKarwani, Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) J&K also visited the camp alongwith Dr. Riaz Ahmed Assistant Commissioner (Relief).
The Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) J&K was assured by the J&K Bank Officers that all eligible beneficiaries identified by the concerned departments shall be provided loan facility on priority to set up their businesses.
Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) accompanied by Dr. Rahul Sharma, Tehsildar Migrant Camp Muthi and the prominent residents of Migrant Camp Muthi also visited the migrant camp Muthi, Primary Health Centre, Zonal Office (Relief) and Higher Secondary School Muthi to take stock of all the problems being faced by the camp inmates.
The Commissioner (M) J&K assured the residents of early resolution of their genuine demands and also emphasized on transparent and time bound disposal of all issues.
