KVIB Kathua organizes Awareness Prog on PMEGP & JKREGP

Kathua : Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) organized one day awareness camp on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) at ITI Kathua under the Chairmanship of Secretary /CEO J&K KVIB, Dr. Jagdish Chander.
Among others, Director RSETI, LDM Kathua, Cluster Head J&K Bank, Regional Manager JKGB, Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Superintendent, ITI, Kathua and large number of aspirant entrepreneurs and educated unemployed youth of the Kathua area attended the programme.
Secretary/CEO KVIB Dr. Jagdish Chander informed the gathering that Self Employment Schemes like PMEGP & JKREGP are the best alternative in the current scenario to get employment and generating sustainable source of income. He further appealed for getting maximum benefit under these Schemes.
Speaking on Occasion Dy. CEO KVIB, Tilak Raj & District officer KVIB Kathua S. Harvinder Singh explained the gathering regarding processing of applications under KVIB Schemes at different level. Besides, Director RSETI informed the public regarding trainings imparted by their Institute to desirous candidates under various crafts, free of cost.
