DLIC approves 97 cases in B’pora; DC chairs weekly meeting

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman, who is also Chairperson District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) on Tuesday chaired weekly DLIC meeting to review the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) in the district.
97 Cases of the agriculture department were put forward for consideration, and the committee approved all the 97 cases after threadbare discussions.
On the occasion, the DC reviewed the status of progress made under HADP since its launch and took stock of various aspects of HADP including seed distribution, Soil Health testing, Irrigation Infrastructure, farm mechanisation and farmer training programmes.
The DC also reviewed the status regarding achievements of targets and other key initiatives taken under HADP.
Shakeel Ur Rehman assured all possible support from the district administration to facilitate the success of HADP.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Mohammad Maqbool, Chief Agriculture Officer Javid Ahmad Samoon, Chief Horticulture Officer Farooq Ahmad and representatives from other agriculture allied and concerned departments.
