Young Panthers’ Cricket Team Officially Launched At Check Tral

Pulwama: In a grand function, held at Check village of Tral in Pulwama district, the ‘Young Panthers’ cricket team has been officially launched in presence of prominent personalities of the area, following which jerseys were also unveiled and distributed among the players.

Embarking on a new chapter in cricket, the ‘Young Panthers’ team is headed by Captain Faizan Gulzar, Vice Captain Yasir Altaf, Advisor Showkat Ahmad Mir, Spokesperson Azhar Ayoub, and Coach Hamid Mir, while the team is dedicated to intertwining the thrill of cricket with an unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability.

Sponsored by Mashq Records, Mir Auto-Mobiles & Foot-Wear Zone, the Young Panthers aim not just to promote cricket among the youth but also actively address climate issues, positioning themselves as pioneers at the crossroads of sports and environmental advocacy.

Articulating his vision, Director Mashq Records, Rj Umar Nisar states, “Under the Young Panthers banner, our goal is to instill environmental responsibility in the youth, using cricket as a catalyst for positive change.”

Nestled in the heart of Tral Pulwama, the Young Panthers is all set to involve local communities through tree-planting initiatives, awareness campaigns, and educational programs on climate change. Captain Faizan Gulzar underscores the team’s commitment to making a lasting impact beyond the cricket field.

Azhar Ayoub, the team’s spokesperson, adds, “Young Panthers will not only compete on the cricket ground but also strive to be champions in contributing to a greener and healthier planet.”

Pertinently, Advisor Young Panthers team, Showkat Ahmad Mir played a pivotal role in organising the inaugural function and shaping the team’s mission for both on-field success and environmental stewardship.
