Jammu : Office of the Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner, J&K is organising a series of awareness camps under the LG’s SSS campaign.
The campaign aims to enroll eligible beneficiaries under various government schemes under the SSS campaign of Lieutenant Governor.
In the first instance, the camps will be held in this week in collaboration with J&K Bank at four different migrant camps: Muthi, Nagrota, Jagti and Purkhoo. The camps will be held on February 13, 14, 16 and 17 respectively, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu has issued necessary instructions to the concerned departments to ensure departmental stalls are installed and sectoral officers remain available in these camps.
The line departments such as Handicrafts & Handloom, Industries and Commerce, Urban Development, Rural Development, Social Welfare and Labour & Employment shall be participating in these camps.
The representatives and resource persons of these departments shall aware, guide and assist the intended beneficiaries, with special focus on self employment schemes.
Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Dr Arvind Karwani has appealed to all the eligible beneficiaries to participate in these camps and avail the full benefits of the LG’s SSS campaign.
